I am a UK-trained GP, and was based full-time in Brisbane from 2010 to 2023. I now divide my time between Brisbane and Sri Lanka. I have been a GP for 18 years. I have practiced clinical medicine for almost 30 years, combining my career in GP with the Medical Repatriation sector and the Occupational Health sector.
Since July 2022, I have been involved in medical education, namely teaching GP Registrars for the RACGP. This role allows me to guide GPs in training, which is immensely fulfilling.
I have had some success as a writer and intend to marry my medical career with my love of writing by seeking roles in the medical writing sphere.
